Honolulu/Ala
Moana/Waikiki and Diamond Head extinct volcano crater on O`ahu
- ("The Gathering Place"/"Hawai`i Steelheads' " TM
home).
Due to personal
and family health issues, I am re-locateing to Tampa Bay
Florida. It was a huge financial/liability
responsibility after five years of founding and running the
fan club. I have ended/dis-banded it and sent fans to
DirectTV ,
DISH Network ,
and NFL Network for
cheap/fast/easily-installed home, condo, dorm, or
business satellite live Steeler games. And, Hawai`i's awfully/increasingly expensive home and
rental market ,and cost-of-living, combined with
low/un-increasing wages, make it un-feasible to
continue. Some fans moved or are deployed
military since '04, and more may the next two years.

We were at Dave
and Buster's Honolulu for the '05 season,
and our closed-down bar All-Star Hawai`i
Waikiki for the '01-'04 seasons. Please see my
site's "Home", "Local Schedule" (Don't
bother with Un-Televised Pre-Season Games-they're almost
impossible to get by satellite in Hawai`i), and
"Membership/News" pages for answers to most
questions. Contact me if you need help. No soliciting of me or our fans! It will
be deleted, un-replied to, and
reported.

The Hawai`i State Flag has seen Kingdom,
Republic, and State since it's design in 1816 for King
Kamehameha I, and U.S. Statehood in 1959. The
British Union Jack in the corner shows Hawai`i's
early British ties. The eight horizontal stripes
represent the eight main Hawaiian islands - "The Land of
Aloha". L-R: Ni`ihau, Kaua`i, O`ahu - ("The
Gathering Place"/"Hawai`i Steelheads' " home), Moloka`i,
Lana`i, Kaho`olawe, Maui, and Hawai`i - ("The Big
Island"). Hawai`i's State Anthem, "Hawai`i Pono`i", is
its former national anthem written by King Kalakaua.

Our five Super
Bowl trophies: from XL in 2006, 21-10 vs. Seattle, IX in
1975, 16-6 vs. Minnesota, X in 1976, 21-17 vs. Dallas,
XIII in 1979, 35-31 vs. Dallas, and XIV in 1980,
31-19, vs. L.A. Rams. The first four all won by the same
"Super Steelers" team made from the great 1968-'79 drafts that
yielded many hall-of-famers/perennial all-pros under former
Head Coach Chuck Noll.
Aloha and Mahalo -
(Hawaiian Hello and Thanks) - for visiting my site.
Please see my site's "Home" and "Membership/News" pages for
answers to most questions. Contact me if you
need help. I'm Steve B. , a die-hard for 32
years since I was four years old. I grew up in
Houston hating the Oilers and Cowboys, and was part
of great fan clubs in Austin and Houston TX. I
moved to the island of O`ahu in the Hawaiian Islands in
2000, using what I learned to start our fan
club with 20 die-hards in 2001 for our beloved
"Picksburgh Stillers" - (we used "Pittsburghese" often).
I helped
"Yinz/Yunz" find some of our 1000 inter-isle members (300
active per year) met sincethe '01 season on O'ahu. We
saw
all games live in Hawai`i time on as many TVs as
possible, with volume! We sometimes had 50-75 fans
at some regular season games, 100+ per post-season game,
20 at some pre-season games! Of course they
had Rolling Rock beer- formerly brewed in Latrobe PA, our
training camp.
Family members of former RB Chris
Fuamatu-Ma'Afala ("Fuuuu!" as Steeler radiocaster Myron Cope
screamed), and DE Kimo Von Oelhoffen were in the fan club
as they're from Hawai`i. There's Kolbassi,
Sauerkraut, and Perogies in
Hawai`i too!
This was an un-official, non-profit
fan club and site, un-affiliated with the Steelers and
NFL. It promoted the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Due to personal and family health
issues, I am re-locateing to Tampa Bay
Florida. It was a huge financial/liability
responsibility after five years of founding and running the
fan club. I have ended/disbanded it and sent fans to DirectTV ,
